Against All Odds

Lone tree growing on a scree of waste slate, in effect, a slag heap! Dinorwic North Wales.

Felt I needed to ring the changes a bit, Larry. Hence the brooding monochrome... Seemed to suit the subject matter too.
Best wishes,
Andrew

Good evening,Andrew.
Could this do with some colour to differentiate the texture of the tree from the surrounding slate/rock.......?
Best Regards,
Coker.

I think this mono looks dramatic and empasizes the reflections on the slates better (perhaps)!

Thanks, Nezih.
I was in two minds about the conversion. As Coker says, there's not much contrast between the slate and the leaves. In colour, of course, it jumps out at you! I could try colour popping, but I'm not mad about the technique.
