Undiscovered nook

by VividArt

I have always loved this photograph, but it does have issues caused by the HDR process that were difficult to correct. I hope people like
All elements in this photo have changed, the plant is gone, the stuff displayed in the windows gone. To achieve this look the sky had to be sacrificed as it was blown out - I replaced the sky with a picture taken 1000 meters away from this location. This place is called Granville Island, it's a market place/tourist attraction. The island is actually an old landfill.

I'm not sure if i like the extreme HDR on this shot, but it is an interesting image and also the information you've given is very informative.

I think it looks cool. Very painterly, like the mannequin on the right

Bit too painterly for me but Photomatix doesn't always give you the options that you want!
