Allen,

Even better than your last night time shot posted recently. This really is a great capture. Nice composition, nice light and excellent reflections!

+1

though I would like see without the gallery included, having so much darkness on one side seems to detract? Just a thought

One of these days I'll prowl round Newcastle after dark rather than during the day. I hope I could get images as good as this if I ever do. I just love the colours.
Alan, its a good job there is a bend in the River Tyne at this point or you would be very wet and cold after snapping this.

Thanks for the supportive comments folks. Sean, the last time I photographed this scene was about 15 years ago (and the Millennium Bridge hadn't even been thought of). I kept the Baltic in, as I wanted to date it. The writing on the Baltic, which can be seen quite clearly on a large print refers to the 2011 Turner Prize exhibition which was ongoing at the time.

I've got cropped versions without the Baltic, with the Millennium Bridge lit up in red and also in blue on my flickr photostream

One sees photos of these bridges time and time again, and they never fail to impress me!
Paul.
