Turbine - Straight out of the camera

by WaypointCharlie

I was experimenting with multiple exposure mode SOOTC. Not so easy as I'd hoped and probably needed to twiddle with the High/Low Key and Contrast to obtain a better black level.

Lens correction can't be applied in multiple exposure mode and the colour balance of the Raw file is a bit weird.

Good experiment and good result

Now, if you can recall the total exposure time, by counting the number of blade images you should be able to calculate the rotation speed !!!
But probably much easier simply to time it !

Not that simple Peter. I triggered the shots manually, by eye, with one shot having a longer exposure. The rotation speed was also varying quite a lot with the wind. It wasn't the effect I'd initially setout to get when I went up there.

And I thought you were from the premier university !

Seriously though, I do quite like the artistic geometric effect.

I agree with Peter. I too like the artistic 'geometric effect! Fun trial!
Cheers...Donna 😊
