Tulip glow

The Tamron SP 500mm f8 Mirror lens is a nice little lightweight lens that can be used quite effectively for many tasks. It is not the sharpest of lenses, the Bokeh can be quite distracting, there is very little depth of field - but it's still quite fun to use. This shot is at iso6400 1/250 and f8 (although it's reporting as f4.0!) indoors on a dull day....

A beautiful picture. To be honest I don't like leaf in foreground. Just a Little bit distracting. But overall compo and result Is very pleasant.

Lovely satin like appearance. Shows the lens off to great effect. It can be a very effective 'macro' lens too even if you do need to mount the lens several feet from the subject..

Seems you got the best out of the lens!
