Thanks Stuey. There are direct flights from the Uk to Levi in Finland, that is where the shot is taken. .....

I'd love to visit Finland but it's not in the finances as yet
I'm still part way through renovating our house - slowly - in the last 7 years I have learned how to lay bricks, plumb, plaster, hang doors, build gates and fences from scratch, etc etc - all this when I should have been taking more photo's instead
Back to plastering and decorating at the weekend - I'll have to wait for the snow to come to me

The colour one for..... It show great sharpness and tell what kind of day it was.

I am also more a fan of this version - but very often I prefer the colored ones - in this case I love the perfect combination of blue and white as this stands for cold - so it really fits to the motive.

Like them both, but more inclined towards the colour, because of the sky. Nice work!

Thanks to all of you for your comments, it was indeed a fantastic day to take pictures(a bit cold, probably around -15c or so)!
