Beautiful old motorcycle. Why a rear luggage rack? It changes (into bad) the style of that jewel.

Maybe spoils the bike, but I feel it creates a lovely symmetry into the picture - mirror and visor dipping down to the saddle and up to the luggage rack. And all this "mirror imaged" by the Transporter's uprights (piers? legs?) dipping down in the middle. A great composition!

I love the way that you've presented this, but I do agree with Giulio that the luggage rack/box do spoil the lines of the bike (in my opinion!). LIKEd

Some interesting comments. Always appreciated.

The bike is a 2013 Kawasaki W800

The top box (rear luggage) is a necessary burden as it's safer to carry a camera & lenses in that than a rucksack.

It also allows me to carry the disc lock, puncture repair foam, bottle of water etc. etc.

I have thought of a few outings without it which would mean a rucksack of bits strapped to the rear saddle or on the rack. If I do, I'll take a few shots.
