Not 100% sure about this one, sorry Sean. I agree with Billdad's point above and also the wooden structure in the bottom left is cutting the frame edge.
I can appreciate the skill involved to take a shot like this, but the composition is not quite right for me.

It is a lovely image but I agree with the opinions on composition already expressed. A lightly lower viewpoint would have lifted the old jetty well above the line of the horizon although that might have made the foreground structure too dominant. It's hard to please everyone init Sean.

Thank guys, yes this is the second time I've shot this scene, and it annoys me. Unfortunately it's impossible to get a better angle without risking camera and/or life. Guess I'll have to save up for a flight to Japan after all

Great image, but just clone the horizon a bit lower, should only take an hour or so
