The Valentines Lamp

The lamp, believed to be the only working gas lamp in Somerset, is in Catherine Street.It was restored by Frome resident Reg Ling in 1993. Every year he has organised the lighting ceremony on Valentine's Day.

My wife and I like this photo, my wife especially, when she was a child, she lived in Frome for a while, as her father was the manager of Currys in the late 1960's.
With more patience, practice and learning, I hope one day I will be able to take beautiful photos like this.
