The Start!
by Peter Elgar
The start of the 13 mile Half Marathon in Brentwood on Sunday- this year I tried my 400mm f5.6 Pentax-A lens on my K10D from a long way off,and manual focussed. The Brentwood Gazzette photographer was envious when he saw the result on my preview screen when we were getting our'Free Tea and Cakes' from a local Church ( also the Police go there- the Press and Police always know where to get a good FREE Tea and Cake !)

This is a lovely Lens and you can see that, from the detail caught in your image
