Really like this one, the three strong verticals, the horizontal blocks on the extreme left of the image. all works very well. I don't understand your choice to the emphasise the brackets in red given the subject matter and the title. I guess I'm looking at the photograph in a different way to you the author.

Actually, this is a colour photo. The brackets are there and they are red — something to do with attaching platforms for external work. As for the title, I have no clear idea. Something to do (perhaps) with what "growth" means today. Most of the other trees around the site were cut down and reduced to wood chips on the spot and in no time. A tree like this one does takes some time to reach this height (though this one does look relatively young). An escapee tree like this one allows the promoters to dish out something about natural environment and bio-diversity. The building itself (apartments) is going to be 16 storeys high. As far as I know, the city imposed a limit of 8 years ago. Times change. It's about time the word "growth" was replaced by "save".

Great shot of natural and man made structures, I know which one I rather have towering above my home. Thanks for sharing
