This dragonfly was really impressive. I did not maipulate the colors on this shot - although it seems I did..... This Species had such amazing metalic green colors

Lovely shot Axel. I think this is a Beautiful Demoiselle Damselfly. A female (the males are more metallic blue, the females metallic greenish). Very well taken. I was watching a pair of these for ages yesterday but they absolutely would not settle anywhere for a picture. Nice result!

hmmm - if this color code is true then I have an expalantion, why mine were a bit more relaxed and were sitting down from time to time -there was not a single bluish one- they were all that green - so it seems that the ladies had a relaxed sunny afternoon without males who were flying around trying to get them
