The Light Before The Storm

Photo Information
Literally. This strange colour cast crept up as the sky darkened and minutes after this shot was taken it was a case of racing for cover as the storm hit. For a few moments that pre-storm light was incredible.

Very atmospheric shot - everything is here - colour, reflection, human interest - but it is the slowly encroaching darkness from the edge that makes this shot so clear - as the light changes so does the intensity of the reflection and the colour of the blossom. The windows of the house look incredibly sharp (have you used unsharp mask?)- and the contrast of the bricks is also very high - I like this feel of sharpness about to be drenched - well done.
Everything is possible - just not today.

What an amazing picture! I like everything about it: the mood, the detail, the reflection - the colour and cast does give off that sense of impending doom... And the couple in the left hand corner, holding hands only add to this

Brilliant shot!
