The Hurdy Gurdy Man

I took this a local event where there were some Morris Dancers and this old chap was playing this instrument which I'd never seen before. I now know it's a Hurdy Gurdy. I wonder how many people play this nowadays?

You really have found a rarity. I'm not sure that it's a case of how many people use them but, rather, how many of them exist to be used? Great capture of an unusual moment (and sound).
