Hi Gabor,
yes, it was Silver Efex Pro 2. It can really make an otherwise mundane colour shot quite dramatic! It also has a colorise function which lets you selectively put back whatever colour you want, and at what opacity you want, which I think can have a better effect than duo-tones.
