The Emerald Island

Another image from the other morning with the strong winter sun gleaming through the green glass of the gin bottle. This time I removed the stopper and opened the aperture up to f2.0 which gave a beautifully thin depth of field due to the use of a 36mm Triplus auto extension tube on the FA*85/1.4.

No mono conversion this time - the colours of the glass coupled with the low sunlight allow the image to reveal it's own qualities.

This is nice but the mono version is more nicer - whoops, drinking too much!

Both the *istDS and the K5 are incurably addicted to old glass
