Those lessons from Andrew seem to have worked quite well! I tried reducing it to b & w but it needed that little bit of color to put some life into it.

Everything's right: texture, tone, light, contrast. Super picture. It's odd, I find the same, even subtle colour is really important and rarely use mono for this kind of thing.
