The Cresent

Photo Information
This is a grade 1 listed building that is empty...

It should be used but is just being left to rot.

Good photographic subject tho!

This is a fantastic black and white image of this incredible building. I like the way you have the wall light in just the right position in the frame. How can a listed building be allowed to rot away? Where is it?

It's in Buxton in Derbyshire.

It's probably been empty now for 10 or 15 years. I don't think anyone wants to invest in it sadly...

Info Here
At the beggining there was nothing....

Which exploded....

the problem with listed buildings is you have to do everything in exactly the "right" way. Great in theory, but in practice what it often means is the work just doesn't get done at all.

lovely photo, I really like the composition and use of B&W
you don't have to be mad to post here

but it does help

Good one, maybe I would try a tiny bit more contrast.
