A fine picture centered on a splendid tree. I like the composition very much. It would be interesting to see it in monochrome, but its subtly understated hues certainly suit the quiet and peaceful atmosphere well.

A very good composition, I know how hard it is to pull off a shot like this, benefits from the larger viewing. I too would like to see a b&w version.

I like the placing of this beautiful naked tree against the evergreens at the background, also like the bluish hue of the sky. 18-55 is proved to be a good lens in your hands, Andrew.

Nice composition. My only minor niggle is that powerline cutting across the background trees.
