I really like this
I wish I knew how you get that extra little bit of definition & tonal range!
(see some dust spots - you really must have been offline - LOL)

the extra bit is mainly lot of effort. First effort when shooting - as this is an HDR, and main effort during processing (first the HDR processing, then the post-HDR-processing) - so not pure photography but a way, to get such pics even out of the 18-250mm consumer lense hehe

Great shot, Axel. Germany hasn't got a very long coast, but, judging from what I know, it's a fascinating one. Great shot. I know all about these weird seats: there was a programme on TV about the resort, just recently.
Best wishes,
Andrew

Funny that you find them weird as for us they are so typical for our cost (on both seas - North Sea and Baltic Sea) - actually some people even buy them for their gardens in southern Germany - but it is a bit like with the red wine you bring from holiday - it tastes best where you got them - for me these seats only work on the coast line

Great HDR shot. I like its tonal range and the composition.

Lovely composition, really works for me and a great tip about using HDR before converting to BW,
