I see you didn't stay all day at Bury Cliff. Judging by this photo its well worth exploring further.
Next time I go to the East Lancs Railway I want to get out on location along the line.

Its well worth it David, some lovely locations to be had! although the weather was a little chilly for standing around in the middle of nowhere yesterday. Alan, have your fingers defrosted yet?.
