500mm lenses usually require maximum aperture, if not fixed aperture.

Dirty sensors become very apparent.

There are several cleaners - from powerful bulb blowers, through sticky swabs to battery-spun static charged carbon fiber brushes.

I'd start with a Giottos rocket blower - quite reasonable and handy for other uses (lenses, mirror).

If your dust is new and dry, the blower may do the trick.

Let us know how you make out.

Meanwhile, that's a heck of a lens!
