Take a bow...

Ta-Daaah! I love this shot (although it's not quite sharp) of a Gull landing on ice this morning. To me it looks for all the world like he's taking a bow. He was quite a long way away though, pretty much pushing the limits of the lens (with me operating it at any rate).

Nice shot! Seems pretty good for 300mm. Is this with the 55-300?

This was with the sigma 70-300, and in fairness is a bit of a crop too as the gull was quite a distance away...

Yes, not quite sharp but an engaging capture anyway. The reflection adds to the image. The darker patches in the top corners make me think they should be cleaned up or perhaps a subtle vignette applied.
