Took this pick one morning in the freezing cold, manfrotto in the water, gumboots, and blue hands. But I am glad i suffered to get this shot.

Yes, it is a great shot, I really like it, I haven`t been able to blur the water on my try, how did you manage, could you tell me which setting were you using.

the exif if you click on it will tell you the settings. To blur the water without overexpsoing it you will need an ND or ND grad filter and time to experiment. I tend to use 0.6 Nd and ND grads but it depends on the effect you are after, the speed of the water and the brightness on the day

Lovely shot, living in Southern Spain all the rivers are dry so never get the chance for these kind of shots, hopefully one day.

That particular morning was very dark and gloomy and the above canopy was thick. Because of this, i was able to take a longer exposure without any ND grads. I took the shot with my tripod at f 16, 3 second exposure at iso 100. Thanks for the kind comments and feedback

I would love to give it some HD treatment. I am sure it would come out great. I have never used HDR however.Any suggestions on how to get started?
