Tadpole

K7, 100mm D FA Macro, built-in flash.

Fast-developing now!

This image shows the rasping mouth-parts developed since the egg-source of food has been consumed.
A plan view can be seen in the reflection in the underside of the water film.

To be continued....

A big capture, IMHO.I like pose of the fish and its reflection onto surface. I should prefer just a little bit of more contrast

Thanks, folks.

Fascinating to see how quickly these creatures develope!

My previous images on the Gallery, from the egg (spawn) stage, through the growing of gills, to this, has taken less than a week. And they're getting bigger every day!
