T'Rain!

Is there a mathematical formula connecting the length of a raindrop streak with its focal distance, terminal velocity and shutter speed? Any Einsteins among us?

Probably, but I wouldn't be daft enough to stand out there measuring it having just secured a very nice picture.

I'm no mathematician but I love this. The old engine looks great in its Great Eastern Railway shade of blue and the raindrops are the iceing on the cake.

Thanks for your nice comments. It occurred to me that Einstein might have re-worked E=MC.C to G=ER.R!

Nice piccy and liked.

On the maths bit; I have some night photos with snow falling near a street lamp. You can work out the shutter speed from the snow streak as the streak is 'pulsed' if you get my drift!
