Hello.
Who is being aimed at here? And for what reason? If some delicate sensibility has been offended, let me know. Ill immediately and simply delete the photo and any others that cause grave mental distress. I keep forgetting that any kind of humour is becoming unacceptable.
Ps: English was not my first language and I do not live in England and so certain nuances must escape me. I have always thought, for example, that one responds to a question and reacts to a remark. As for g fk off...?

Im sorry for the first derogatory opening of the sentence, I apologize sincerely. I have let myself down. The other part is one that irritates me , when one is the recipient of comments on one of their images a simple reply is becoming . Your good self and others might I add have simply ignored those courtesies

Hello. Your suggestion that "normal" be returned to has been duly considered and we regret to inform you that it cannot presently be returned to it as contact with it has been lost and its date of return is unknown. :
The current period shall be known as the "The hands-on live SF age."

There is a difference between "derogatory" and offensive.
There is no obligation to always give detailed comments on photos posted.
Thumbnails serve a purpose and it is possible to distinguish a general remark from a personal remark and to "like" a photo without adding a comment as I quite often do.
After a number of years one does get to know the style of different members and appreciate their postings.
In the early day of my membership I used to sometimes write fairly long commentaries or express ideas about photography with very little or no feedback and did not take any offense.
When a photograph does really please, impress, or intrigue me I do leave a word.
Life is too short to spend ones day uselessly labouring over lines such as those I have just written.
