Sunrise

Not a particularly good photo but I wanted to be one of the first to display a shot from the K-5. One of my first attempts with the camera (IMGP0013), I dropped Shari off at school and went in search of a photo location. This one always looks so nice as the sun comes up, especially with the mist rising off the water. Racked the ISO up to 1600 and clicked away.

I took 23 shots this morning SJ and they were the first. I can't compare with the K-7, never having handled one, but it will take me a time to get used to the changes from my beloved K20. First impressions also derive from the shape of the camera which looks and handles quite differently to the 20. However, like all Pentaxes past, it fits my hand like a glove, which has always been a significant aspect in the development of my great love for the brand.
I'll keep you updated.

Nice shot Paul. The reflection of the trees on the water is sharp enough.
Is the default aspect ratio changed to 16:9 at K5? I am envious a bit of your K5. I think so I have to spare money for a while, yet. Or i will spare money for the K1.

I wanted to comment first on this first shot and I did. however, now I see that it has been deleted somehow. So I have to restate at least that I like it. Hope you enjoy using it a lot.
