Sunny Boy II

A new season opens for museums and attractions everywhere. This is the first exhibit that greets us when we enter the British Commercial Vehicles Museum in Leyland. A fine display of colour that plays to one of the strenghts of Pentax cameras.

Slap in the middle of England

45 - 50 years ago I was regularly on the road with one of these (not mine, I would add). The sheer cost of keeping one in working order today, however is absolutely phenomenal - hence seeing them in museums rather than on rally fields.

Both the *istDS and the K5 are incurably addicted to old glass
