Strelitzia

This is in my garden on a steep bank which makes access difficult. Last year I posted another strelitzia photo from the same plant but using a different lens ( a 7-300 Sigma ) but this was taken using a sigma 17-70 f 2.8 -4.5.

A very interesting flower! Framed nicely - although I guess you could have been on the point of sliding down the bank!

Thanks Alfpic. You are right - I was in an awkward position. When I garden there I often rope myself back to a verandah post.

It's an impressive plant - I'm glad you got the picture before disappearing from view

Both the *istDS and the K5 are incurably addicted to old glass
