Stormfront

An HDR followed by an IR-style black and white conversion. I wanted drama here for this incredible monument. I'm not sure what it's called, but the location is Lancaster.

As above, an impressive image. It is Ashton Memorial in Williamson Park.
From web:
Ashton Memorial, Williamson Park, Lancaster, Lancashire. Williamson Park was laid out in the late 19th century by Lancaster-born millionaire businessman James Williamson, 1st Baron Ashton. He commissioned the Edwardian Baroque style memorial as a tribute to his late wife Jessy and it was built in 1907-1909. It later fell into disrepair but was completely restored in 1986-1987.
Best regards

Very striking John, excellent shot. I might have been, picky perhaps, tempted to clone out the 'bush' on the outer left?

Well that is dramatic, and then some!! HDR works well in the black and white conversion and a great infra red feel. Good high impact shot

Great black and white converison and very dramatic. I've seen that building many times when driving on the M6 and I thought it was part of Lancaster University. Now I know better thanks to Gary.

A fine image, John. Lovely composition and a punchy conversion.
Best wishes,
Andrew

Wonderful lights, shades and composition. It's really dramatic, you made a good work. I like it.
