Starling Murmuration

by PRYorkshire

Starling murmuration over Potteric Carr Nature Reserve, Doncaster. 10,000s perform this every winter evening, twisting and turning as a mass before descending to roost in the reed beds.

Thanks for the comments. I've never seen so many as we have had this year, the sky was filled with them, as many behind me as there were in front and you could feel the draught from their wings when they flew over my head. Luckily this is something that I get to see every evening.
