Staircase to Science

by AxelLuther

Last year I went to Heidelberg topractice a bit my weak night shooting skills. Was so surprised to see my former campus - it became kind of trendy and stylish and many place I knew from my time there, disappeared. If you wonder, about this green stuff in the foreground - that's snow

HDR taken with my standard K20D 18-250mm set. Tripod, no flash

I like it, although I think a tighter crop may look better.

I really like that. Wonderful use of HDR. Is there a chameleon there somewhere?

Nice shot, Axel. I seem to recall this being entered in a comp.

One thing confuses me - how come the verticals are diverging? Is it the building or do my eyes need testing?

I thought the same and both versions are in PPG - I thought to start here with the more generic version and providing detail shots later

Well seen and shot well! I love the pleasant green colour and the shadows that make it even more effective and interesting.
