Squirrel Monkey

by pauljay

I always say that I rarely like more than one in one hundred photos that I take! I think this must have been the one hundredth shot that I took on this day a couple of weeks ago at our local zoo. I was very lucky that the monkey stopped, turned and looked me directly in the eyes and that I had time to lift the goliath lens into place. It only takes one shot like this to make my day worthwhile

A perfect compo that fills diagonal and makes those eyes intriguing. Liked.

Great shot.
I always hoped for one good shot on a roll of film 36exp. And hopefully 1 on a 120 roll 10exp. One was a bit more careful, mainly because of the expense. Nowadays I take a larger volume and seem to like even fewer!
