Sparking Interest
by Wildwood512
Our neighbor was using our bench grinder to sharpen a metal tool he found. I was fascinated by the forked sparks and thus grabbed my camera. He told me that the spark formation can help identify the metal. That sparked my interest even more!!! A variety of spare grinding wheels makes for a nice backdrop.

Well captured!! Somewhere I had a couple of old books from the days of the English Steel Works in Sheffield that gave you photos/ images to help one ID the metal content!
