someone likes red tiles

I really like this.

Nice mix of colour(s) and shapes.

I too realy like this image, a pity about the back left ladders, metal structure laying on the ground.

Good capture all the same.

Another good shot; centrally and symmetrically shot or cropped. Good geometry. I like the way that you have positioned the shot to centralise the ceiling segment join to run through the red tiled circular pillar, is this reflecting a draughtsman in you? I also like the ceiling reflections of the ground tiled circles. It is only spoiled by the non symmetry of the two buildings in the background but there was nothing that you could have done about that; too late the architect "has left the building"! Pity about the glazing of the red tiles, mat would have been better, they are giving you the same problem that I get when trying to photograph spider's eyes; horrible reflections! The red glazed tiles are suggestive of a Ladies Loo, had you just exited a blue glazed pillar, the Gents, from the camera end?

This is a really well taken shot. I do like it.

- I am just an architect in a software company not a draughtsman but it is true that I like strong structures/symetrics in my pictures (very strong contrast to my rather chaotic life . You are right - the rest of the background disturbs a bit - one reason, why I emphasized the red to draw the attention away from the background.... I should have taken it perhaps with a polar filter to get rid of some of the reflectoins on the tile (not sure, if the light reflected from such a irregular surface would really be much absorbed from a polar filter but it is worth trying it......

As you can see on my next pic- on the other side of the camera end was not a blue tiled pillar but the river Rhine (well - perhaps a typical gent's Loo )

So simple but so effective! Think I've said that before!
