Thanks gents. They are ground nesting birds that fly straight up, sing their heads off whilst drifting away. Then, when they think you're far enough away from the nest, they drop to the ground then run back through the grass. Hence, difficult to get a shot of. Luckily, this one didn't notice the blob in combat gear was human!

Excellent close up - as you say, very easily spooked and hard to capture

Great shot, I know how difficult it is to capture one of these little birds, have tried several times with out success, must try harder.
