You've done this really well David, a great result.
Actually when I suggested this I was thinking about the post being left in and just the horizontal wire being removed as this would leave two nice elements in the picture without encroaching on the bird. Is it rude to ask to see one like this as an 'inbetween' version of the three images?

Thats what I did first but the post distracted from the bird so I took it out as well. I will do the in between version soon. Also does this darker version look worse or better than first lighter version?
