Severn Bridge M4
by SimonL
A shot I had been wanting to take for quite a while but the 120 mile round trip kept putting me off. Manual exposure and manual focus on K3 with 18-135 lens. I think it was about 20 seconds at f16 and 100 ISO.

Lovely colours and a great photo of this beautiful bridge. I've always wanted to get out on the bridge - other than belting across it in the car - to photograph the middle section with the suspension towers and cables. Is there a pedestrian path next to the road deck? The walk over wouldn't deter me.

To be honest I don't know if there's a footpath - I know there is on the other Severn bridge so I guess there must be for maintenance and in case of emergency.
