Pre-set, in camera HDR version of previouse Purple and Yellow Iris

As a comparison I set camera 'Function' to HDR prior to shooting to cope with highlight/shadow extremes but I do not like it as the purples have become blue. I made A4 size prints of both the HDR and non HDR to versions to physically compare with the flower in the garden next day. Although there is improvement in the shadow detail particularly in the leaf texture detail I feel that the non HDR is far more colour representative with respect to the purple!
