Worthing Pier Wide Angle

I am fast learning that shooting with a large field of view presents metering challenges! Some processing was needed to tame the comparatively bright glow of the setting sun in the right of frame. I suspect that spot metering is the approach here… maybe next time out I will get it right Shot using my Pentax K-r with a Tamron 10-24mm ultra wide angle lens set to 10mm. Exposure was 0.3s at f/8 using a sensitivity of ISO100.

No, I shot this yesterday... cold, but dry compared with today's dire weather!

Processing: Adobe Bridge for organisation, DxO Optics Pro Elite for RAW development, ON1 Photo RAW for some 'stylising' and Affintiy Photo for more involved edits.

Beautiful shot. Please tell me it wasnt today, I was along the coast at Telsombe getting battered to death! (by the weather that is)
