Think there could be two shots here Ken, with and without the pole in the forground as the boat is strong enough to be there on it's own, saying that it is a nice shot..

I like it with the post because the ice round the base reinforces the freeezing cold message and provides a strong focal point in the forground. The backdrop curtain of frosty trees is superb.
