Why I am drinking coffee when there is all this beer available???

In Amersfoorte, last weekend, drinking coffee in the sunshine, when really there was a big selection of beers,,,, shame I dont have a drink anymore !

OH quite right Gray no a sluggish Trixie is usuless. !!!! The coffee is perfect in Holland, the Dutch are so good at Coffee, chocolate, beer and of course flowers, I hear the beer is good too.
An espresso [or dark equivalent] and typical cafe biscuit inclusion wins every time for me. Beer would end up with a sluggish trixie who couldn't focus on her chosen subjects of delight....can't have that can we?

The beer there wouldn't be proper ale, but lager. I'd choose the coffee every time.

Oh Ima not a cheap date!!! cheeky, but I do love coffee.I would be too wobbly full of beer and the beers are strong in Belgium and Holland.

thanks David, there are beers as well as that awful lager, not proper ale like in the North ! I love coffee it was good there.
