The excellence of nature's engineering.

Mega close up of how a dragonfly's wings are constructed, braced and articulated.
This one illustrates a theme begun by Spad in the Forum, about AI. It is a perfectly legitimate conventional photograph but heavily cropped and the crop enlarged to a usable size in Topaz Gigapixel. Can one say that the AI has not generated anything new in doing so? And, if it has, is it a form of falsification? Or is this a legitimate enhancement of a valid illustration made simply to help comprehend the original?
It's a broad bodied chaser BTW.

As a user of Topaz Gigapixel and Topaz AI (along with LR and PS) I only look upon them as tools to make my life easier when editing a digital image - not too disimilar from some of the tricks I used to get up to in the darkroom. I think back then we called it a skill not the doom of humanity
