An amazing place this. I really like the angle you've used to get the columns and roof disappearing into the distance - very effective. Just a shame about the blown highlights/brightness in the doorway, but obviously really difficult light

Thanks Northgrain. Yes the lighting was difficult. I was using the DA 12-24 at F4 and has a monopod only for support.

Nice shot and an interesting scene. This would be a good candidate for HDR or exposure blending.

Nice composition, lovely natural colours. But it's pity your son is too small in the picture.

Dave - I have tried the 'exposure photomerge' in PSE 9 and am uploading it for you to have a look at. I merged 4 shots by decreasing exposure by 1 stop in each photo - seems to have worked a bit. I am not sure if there is another bit of software that would work better.
Gabor, I see what you mean - he should ideally be positioned next to the nearest pillar. That would also had hidden the floodlight at the bottom of the pillar.
