I agree this looks a very marketable shot, clone out the cap(?) on the floor first and also whatever it is on the chair behind the dog, or maybe you could get away with cropping some of that off on the left, dont crop the right as it needs some space for the dog to look into.

Looks like you used available window light, well done, the exposure seems spot on. The only real gripe I have is I think the crop is a bit tight, I think a tad more room top and bottom would have been better.
My Names Alan, and I'm a lensaholic.

I would say leave it as it is, in "old master" paintings they left it as it was to add the natural look, to me it is just right, or may be a Shepherds crook in the background :

Well thank you for your comments, as for marketing would not know were to start!
Maybe have a go in PS to remove the cap and the dogs camera bag behined him! Then have a go at re-cropping as that is all I have done to it.

What a lovely picture!!
I assume this is a bitch? If it was a male dog it would no doubt be holding the remote?!.
Best Regards, Larry.

All the gear & no idea.

Pentax K7 and K5 and several black tubey things with magnifying glass in that twist around and move in and out - to be honest I am not sure exactly what I have. Will list the proper names one day..
