Pond Reflection

by rick

More of a test photo than anything, I bought myself a HD 15mm f/4 for Christmas and not really managed to have a proper run out with it as yet. This was just a quick photo from the local pond, what I love about this lens is its ability to get in a lot of foreground too, granted in this instance not overly exciting, since it's just pond weed, but it opens up lots of opportunities.

Converted to Black & White because of the overcast, gloomy conditions.

That needs to viewed large. Wonderful image all round!
Both the *istDS and the K5 are incurably addicted to old glass

Agree. But foreground detail perhaps would improve with a little lightening.
