Winter Tree

taken on a very misty day in Lydiard Park in Swindon. Visibility wasn't much and the mist and snow created a near whiteout. So, wanted to catch a feeling of solitude. Hopefully i have in some way succeded. It dooes, however need cropping a the top

That's lovely, but it is badly posterised. Did you squeeze up the levels? Or is it a compression thing?

its a compression thing I'm afraid. however I best repost the cropped version. Ah, I cant. never moind. Just ignore the posterisation in the upper bit, pleeeeaaase.

ah... but it's down the bottom too
I like the tallness - it increases the sense of isolation. I would paint out the tones at the top, rather than cropping.
