Mudflats at Low Tide

K100D Super with Hoya M42 24mm lens. Probably lots of camera shake due to freezing cold photographer. Horizon slope corrected in Photoshop where levels and sharpening were also applied.

Thanks, Mac,
I always appreciate your comments abd when someone from Canada uses the word "immensity" to describe a shot it's even better!
Regards,
Andrew

Thanks Huw,
Your kind remarks mean a lot to me. I didn't half get muddy boots, so I guess the shot was worth it!
Perhaps I'll get it printed...I did a BW conversion, as well.

I like the way the viewer is drawn into the landscape. I actually feel like I am part of the foreground, don`t often feel this. Well done for your efforts.

Another Somerset man!
It's a unique location because of the deep ruts in the foreground.
Drive down to the National Trust car park at the north end of Sand Bay then cross the sea wall and walk towards the end of Sand Point, keeping close to the cliff. Of course, you can only do this at low to mid tide. Most people go up on the hill itself.
You can see Brean Down with Birnbeck Pier silhouetted against it, on the left of the picture.
Best wishes,
Andrew
P.S. Don't worry about your spelling: I can't type to save my life!

Great shot and would definitely work well as a large print. Go on, you know you want to!
