High House Farm

In the Upper Derwent Valley, Derbyshire, last Saturday. It's an idyllic spot, not as dramatic as Scotland or the Lake District, but it has its own special charm.

I love the lead-in lines and the peacefullness that eminates from this photo, David. Regarding the use of the ND Grad, how did you manage to stop the top of the trees from blacking out ? Did you have the filter at an angle for the sky only or did you lighten the trees using PP ?
Thanks
Nigel
Thanks

Hi Nigel, I have lightened the top of the trees as the ND Grad did make them a little too dark, but the details were still there so no real problem.I love the lead-in lines and the peacefullness that eminates from this photo, David.
